Graduate Faculty Mini-Grants

Approximately $3,000 is available annually to support graduate faculty research and related activities. Awards typically range between $100-$350. Whenever possible, Department and/or College funds should be accessed prior to request for Graduate Faculty Mini Grant Funds. Matching funds for Departments and/or Colleges is desirable. Applications for these funds should be made directly to the Dean of the School of Graduate and University Studies using the:

Grant Development Match

Given the importance of external funding to support faculty research, the Graduate School
provides matches to grant applications when Deans are unable to provide this support. Once a College provides the first $10,000 match, the Graduate School can provide any additional matching funds. Requests for matching funds should be made through the faculty member's Dean.
