Welcome to the Lambda Chi
Alpha, Delta Phi Zeta homepage.

Welcome to the
homepage of Delta Phi Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha, a
brotherhood of over 250,000 men nationwide. We are
the exemplary fraternity on Southeast Missouri State
University’s campus. Lambda Chi Alpha was asked to
come to Southeast in 1989 and to break the mold of
your traditional “frat”. What has evolved is a
great brotherhood, that is well rounded, and where
men become better men. Approaching our 20th
year on campus the men of Lambda Chi are creating
memories that will last a lifetime.
With no cheesy
slogans the reality is that the men of Lambda Chi
Alpha strive to be the best in every
aspect of our lives. From the moment you enter the
chapter we respect you as a man. NO HAZING, NO
PLEDGES, as our motto states “Every Man, a Man”.
Lambda Chi Alpha has led the fight against these
acts since 1928 and here at Southeast the tradition
of being a man stands strong. Our Brothers have
succeeded inside the chapter taking leadership roles
but outside the chapter as well.
As a mid sized
chapter we believe we can develop friendships and
know each member of our chapter, being more than a
number. This philosophy is evident in the commitment
our men have made in achieving high standards and
reaching high successes. Lambda Chi Alpha annually
holds our Watermelon Bust philanthropy (a
competition between sororities with watermelons
games), a blood drive, one of the largest canned food
drives in the nation with the women of Alpha Chi
Omega, and an annual Car Wash for Kids with the women of
Delta Delta Delta. In addition we routinely hold other
community service events. Add to this a strong
performance in all intramurals and routine social
events, like homecoming and formals. The men of
Lambda Chi Alpha continue their hard work inside the
class room as well, routinely receiving the highest
grades in the fraternal system and over the all male
average.
This is just a brief insight into the brotherhood of Lambda Chi
Alpha at Southeast Missouri State. We are always
looking for men that want to become better men and
join a brotherhood where “Every Man, A Man” is
practiced not preached. |
