| Course Description: To help with physics content and teaching strategies as part of MNS in Science Education | |
| SEMO Policies and Procedures:
This class abides by university policies in general, and in particular regarding attendance and academic honesty. According to these "Students are expected to attend all classes and to complete all assignments ... "and "students are responsible for upholding the principles of academic honesty in accordance with the 'University Statement of Student Rights' found in the STUDENT HANDBOOK." Work submitted as your own MUST be your own work. Labs are to be used responsibly. Your work is not to be left on lab computers. University rules require that final examinations be given during finals' week (unless there are extenuating circumstances) and that the final examination be COMPREHENSIVE. Late drops are NOT allowed in the College of Science and Mathematics by order of the Dean. Incompletes can only be given after the drop date to passing students who are in exceptional circumstances - see the rules in the University Bulletin. Students are expected to maintain and regularly check an email account, and to provide the instructor with their email address. Such email addresses are considered public. Changes or official re-interpretations of University,
college, or departmental rules or regulations may supersede or
cause the immediate revision of any provision in this or other
handouts with no advance notice.
