Welcome to the AQIP Web site for Southeast Missouri State University.  Southeast is currently accredited with the North Central Association (NCA) through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  Our current accreditation runs through 2010 when our next site visit is scheduled.  Southeast has chosen instead to participate in the AQIP accreditation process.  The University will still be accredited with the NCA and HLC. 

Accreditation through AQIP is a seven-year cycle that initiates with an application and culminates with affirmation of accreditation after seven years.  The application to AQIP was submitted on May 8, 2006.  The next step is analysis of AQIP Examiner results with an outside consultant, development of AQIP Action Projects, and attendance at an AQIP Strategy Forum in November of 2006 where our Action Projects will be further refined and then implemented in Spring of 2007.
