Position Announcement

Family Resource Management Instructor

 

Position:                     Instructor of Human Environmental Studies, a full-time non-tenure-track position in the Department of Human Environmental

                                    Studies.  Review of applications will begin May 1, 2008.

 

Date:                           Position available August 2008.

 

Responsibilities:       Teach courses in family resource management at on- and

                                    off-campus sites.

 

Qualifications:           Required:  Master’s degree in family resource management, human environmental studies, or related field.  At least two years

                                    professional experience to include investment, banking, tax, Medicare or other financial areas.  Willing to work a flexible

                                    class schedule and varied class formats to accommodate non-traditional students.  Excellent written, verbal, teamwork,

                                    and organizational skills.  Demonstrated commitment to working with multicultural populations, and awareness of issues

                                    affecting women and minorities.

 

Salary:                        Commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.  Excellent fringe benefits.
