Department of Political Science, Philosophy, and Religion
POSITION: Full-time, tenure track, assistant professor of
American Politics and Administration in the Department of Political Science,
Philosophy, and Religion.

PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Teach 4 courses per semester of undergraduate courses in political science
and graduate courses in public administration.
Distance education courses may also be included as part of the teaching
assignment.
·
The courses to be taught include: American Government, Presidency, and
Public Administration
·
Assist students before and after class as needed with course work
concerns.
·
Undergraduate and graduate student advising.
·
Attend meetings as required by the Department of Political
Science, Philosophy, and Religion and the
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·
PhD in Political Science, Public Policy, or Public Administration must
be completed prior to appointment.
·
Demonstrated ability to teach assigned courses
·
Willingness to teach via distance education formats
·
Demonstrated commitment to working with multicultural populations and
awareness of the issues affecting women and minorities
