POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 

POSITION:    Full-Time, Instructor of Philosophy, non-tenure-track

 

DATE:   Position available August 2008.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:   Teaching upper level undergraduate courses in Business Ethics and lower level introductory courses in Philosophy.  Teaching load is five courses per semester (15 hours).

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

REQUIRED:     Master’s Degree in Philosophy or related field with emphasis on ethics; evidence of college teaching experience; and demonstrated

                         commitment to working with multicultural populations and awareness of issues affecting women and minorities.

 

SALARY:   Commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.

THE DEPARTMENT:  The Department is housed in the College of Liberal Arts and includes five full-time Philosophy faculty members and eight full-time Political Science faculty members.  The Department offers B.S. and B.A. degrees, as well as an M.P.A., and a minor in Religious Studies.
