POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: Instructor
of Psychology—one year appointment, full time, non-tenure-track
instructor in the Department of Psychology.

RESPONSIBLITIES: Teaching undergraduate courses primarily in developmental Psychology. Ability to teach an introductory level psychology course and lower-level developmental Psychology courses including Lifespan Development, Child Development, and Adolescent Development required. Teach 30 credit hours (15 hours/5 courses per semester). Assist students before and after class as needed with course work.. Advise students about Psychology courses and program information.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Master’s degree in Psychology. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to working with a multicultural population and awareness of issues affecting women and minorities. Successful undergraduate-level teaching experience in psychology and a specialization in developmental Psychology are strongly preferred. ITV or Web-Based course experience is helpful but not required.
SALARY: Commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
