| VIETNAM: Angel of Death by Harry Spiller. |
|
Harry Spiller joined the Marines when still in high school, drawn by
the blue dress uniform and stories of sacrifice and courage. After
four years as a marine and a tour in Vietnam, Sergeant Spiller was assigned
to be a recruiter in Cape Girardeau, encouraging other young men to join the
armed forces. His saddest duty, however came when southeast Missouri's
young men were killed in action. A compelling and sympathetic
account of a difficult time. (2002, 181 pages)
