Purpose:The technology option curriculum is designed for a student who has completed an Associate of Applied Science Degree at a community college and because of changes in career goals and opportunities for advancement, wants to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology. This program is available on the Southeast campus or it is offered in St. Louis through a combination of courses offered from various educational institutions, including Southeast Missouri State University. The Southeast Industrial Technology programs are accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT).

For the technology option, students will be awarded up to 34 hours credit for the approved technical transfer courses from their A.A.S. degrees. To complete the B.S. degree, students will meet their remaining University Studies requirements and the Industrial Technology required core courses. In addition, they will work with their faculty advisors to select 18 credit hours of technical electives (at least 15 hours must be at the 300-500 level), including some technical management coursework, to build upon the skills gained through their A.A.S. degrees.

This is meant as a guide. Since individual student programs may vary, students should consult with advisors at both institutions
