A.A. DEGREE TO B.S. DEGREE
MASS COMMUNICATION -
RADIO OPTION
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete an Associate of Arts degree at Jefferson College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science degree. The Associate of Arts degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement. The program establishes a solid foundation for a variety of careers, including disk jockey, electronic newsgathering, talk show host, music programming, and station manager.
Courses
in bold print are requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Radio. To complete this articulated
program, students must have a grade of "C" or better in these courses and to transfer directly into the College of Liberal Arts, students must have
completed their Associate of Arts degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.
