A.A. DEGREE TO B.S. DEGREE
SOCIAL WORK
Purpose: This program of study is designed for students who have completed an Associate of Arts Degree at Jefferson College and wish to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work at Southeast Missouri State University. The Social Work Program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and offers a generalist curriculum that prepares students for entry level professional social work practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
The Department of Social Work has a formal admission process for majors. Completion of the A.A. Degree does not guarantee admission to the social work program.
* Required for Social work Majors at Southeast Missouri State University. Students must have a grade of "C" or better in these courses.
