A.S. DEGREE TO B.S.E. DEGREE
EARTH SCIENCE

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete an Associate of Science degree at John A. Logan College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in secondary education.  The Associate of Science degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirements.

Students must be admitted to Teacher Education prior to entry into Block 2 of the junior year.

Great attention needs to paid to the offering of the special subject techniques course SE 3XX which is normally offered only once a year.  If it is offered in the spring semester, Block II MUST be taken in the fall, as shown here, with student teaching in either the fall or spring of the fourth year.  If it is offered in the fall, Block II may be taken in the fall or spring of the third year.
