A.S. DEGREE TO B.S.E. DEGREE
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who plan to complete an Associate of Science Degree at John A. Logan Community College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Education (Elementary).  The Associate of Arts Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement.  Students who complete this degree will be certified to teach grades  1 - 6 in Missouri’s public schools.
