A.S. DEGREE TO B.S.B.A. DEGREE
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who plan to complete an Associate in Science Degree at John A. Logan College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree. The Associate in Science Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement.  The B.S.B.A. in Management Information Systems prepares students for careers in areas such as Office Manager, Food Service Manager, Production Analyst, Systems Analyst, Quality Control Manager, Recreational/Leisure Manager, Insurance Broker, Public Administrator, Human Resource Manager, Benefits Manager, Store/Retail Manager, and Manufacturing Manager.

Courses in bold/italics print are requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree.  To complete this articulated program, students must have a grade of "C" or better in courses marked by (C) and to transfer directly into the Harrison College of Business, students must have completed their Associate in Science Degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or greater.

PSC 131 American Government from John A. Logan taken in conjunction with PS220 Missouri Government from Southeast satisfies the statutory requirements of Missouri concerning knowledge about the governments and constitutions of the United States and Missouri.
