A.A. DEGREE TO B.S. DEGREE
MASS COMMUNICATION - RADIO OPTION

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete an Associate of Arts degree at John A. Logan College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science degree. The Associate of Arts degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement.  The program establishes a solid foundation for a variety of careers, including disk jockey, electronic newsgathering, talk show host, music programming, and station manager.

Courses in bold/italics print are requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Radio. To complete this articulated program, students must have a grade of "C" or better in these courses and to transfer directly into the College of Liberal Arts, students must have completed their Associate of Arts degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.
 

Students who choose the Radio Option minor in one of the following:
Business Administration, Communication for Legal Professionals, Foreign Language, Information Systems, Management, Political Science, Sales Management, Electronic Technology.
