A.A. DEGREE TO B.S. DEGREE
SOCIAL WORK

Purpose: This program of study is designed for students who have completed an Associate of Arts Degree at John A. Logan College and wish to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work at Southeast Missouri State University.  The Social Work Program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and offers a generalist curriculum that prepares students for entry level professional social work practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.

The Department of Social Work has a formal admission process for majors.  Completion of the A.A. Degree does not guarantee admission to the social work program.

Bold courses are required for Social Work Majors at Southeast Missouri State University.  Students must have a grade of "C" or better in these courses.
