BIOLOGY EDUCATION (UNIFIED
SCIENCE)
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who plan to complete an Associate of Science Degree at Rend Lake College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Education - Secondary Education (Biology major). The Associate of Science Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement. The curriculum shown here will satisfy the State of Missouri Unified Science Certification Requirements. In addition, this specific curriculum will provide a Biology Endorsement of the certification.
Special Note: Students must be admitted to Teacher Education prior to entry into Block 2 of the junior year.
