MATHEMATICS EDUCATION
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete an Associate in Science Degree at Rend Lake College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, in secondary education. The Associate in Science Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirements.
Students must be admitted to Teacher Education prior to entry into Block II of the junior year.
For middle school education certification with a mathematical area of concentration a physical science with a laboratory is required.
