A.A.S. DEGREE LAW ENFORCEMENT TECHNOLOGY
TO B.S. DEGREE
CRIMINAL JUSTICE - LAW ENFORCEMENT OR CORRECTIONS OPTION

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete an A.A.S. Degree at Shawnee Community College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Courses in bold print are requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.  This degree prepares students who are interested in careers in state, federal or local law enforcement, court administration, law, probation and parole, and careers with local, state and federal social service agencies.

# This course does not transfer to Southeast.  Please note that CLE 199, 221, and 299 do not transfer.  Also note that CLE courses not in bold do transfer, but do not meet degree requirements.  Only 40 CJ hours can be counted toward the degree.

* If corrections option is selected, take CJ 230, 355, 365 and 440 instead of CJ 310, 330, 422 and 3xx.
