BIOLOGY EDUCATION
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who plan to complete an Associate of Arts Degree at Southwestern Illinois College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in secondary education. The Associate of Arts degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement. The curriculum shown here will satisfy the state of Missouri Unified Science Certification requirements. In addition, this specific curriculum will provide a Biology Endorsement on the certificate.
Special Note: Students must be admitted to Teacher Education prior to entry into Block 2 of the junior year.
