A.A. DEGREE TO B.S.E. DEGREE
EARTH SCIENCE EDUCATION

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete an Associate of Arts degree at Southwestern Illinois College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in secondary education.  The Associate of Arts Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement.  Courses in bold are certification or degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science Degree which can be fulfilled on the A.A.  In the secondary and K-12 major subject areas, the major selected will impact the choices which should be made.  Therefore, the articulation plan for that major should be studied and an advisor consulted early.

Students must be admitted to Teacher Education prior to entry into Block II of the junior year.
