A.S. TO B.S.B.A. DEGREE
FINANCE
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who plan to complete an Associate in Science Degree at Southwestern Illinois College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree. The Associate in Science Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement. The B.S.B.A. in Finance prepares students for careers in areas such as inventory control specialist, financial analyst, commodities trader, portfolio analyst, treasury management specialist, and budget analyst.
Courses in bold/italics print are requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree. To complete this articulated program, students must have a grade of "C" or better in courses marked by (C) and to transfer directly into the Harrison College of Business, students must have completed their Associate in Science Degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or greater.
*POLS 150 Intro to American Government or POLS261 American Government (National) from Southwestern Illinois College taken in conjunction with PS220 Missouri Government from Southeast satisfies the statutory requirements of Missouri concerning knowledge about the governments and constitutions of the United States and Missouri.
