A.A.S. DEGREE DRAFTING
TECHNOLOGY TO B.S. DEGREE
INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science Degree at Southwestern Illinois College and because of changes in career goals and opportunities for advancement want to complete a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. This program is available on the Southeast campus or it is offered in St. Louis through a combination of courses offered from various educational institutions, including Southeast Missouri State University. The Southeast Industrial Technology programs are accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT). Studies prepare graduates for technical management oriented positions in industry such as Mechanical Designer, Project Manager and Production Manager.
Electives should be selected so that they meet the degree requirements for a minimum of 30 hours of senior college (300-500 level) courses.
This is meant as a guide. Individual student programs may vary.
