A.A. TO B.A. DEGREE
THEATRE
Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who plan to complete an Associate of Arts Degree at Southwestern Illinois College and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre. The Associate of Arts Degree fulfills the lower division University Studies requirement. Career possibilities for theatre majors include: professional actor, theatre teacher at secondary or university level, director, scenic artist, technical director, stage manager, lighting director, arts manager, arts council director, public relations director, and theatre manager.
Courses in bold print are requirements of the Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.

THEATRE PRACTICUM REQUIREMENTS:
Choose from TH 241, TH 242, TH 243, TH 244, TH 342, TH 343
Six hours of practicum credit
is required for this degree. A minimum of four of these hours must
be at the 300 level. Maximum Theatre Practicum credit allowed to
be applied toward a degree is 15.
