Admission Criteria
for Sikeston:
□ Complete and submit college application
with $20 fee.
□ Completed nursing application with
$82 application fee (non-refundable) on file by November 1 in
the Nursing Office, Sikeston Area Higher
Education Center, 2401 N. Main, Sikeston, MO 63801
□ Final high school transcript/GED
certificate (Missouri State Board Requirement)
□ Official transcript of previous
college courses and practical nursing school
□ Completion of one year of high
school algebra and chemistry with “C”
each semester or
completion of Beginning Algebra
with “credit” and Introduction to Chemistry
(3 credit
hours lecture, plus 2 credit
hours lab)
□ Rank in upper 1/3 of high school
graduation class or complete a minimum GPA of 2.0 in
all credit hours attempted.
□ Satisfactory performance on
pre-entrance examinations NLN ACE I LPN
-RN
Foundations, Pediatrics, and Maternity
□ Submission of a satisfactory, confidential medical history and physical examination.
□ Current licensure in Missouri as
Licensed Practical Nurse
