What's Up With Student Government?

  Excellence in Teaching

Ø      ability to communicate effectively

Ø      ability to relate to students

Ø      use of instructional technology

Ø      approachability

Ø      availability outside of the classroom

Ø      involvement with or sponsorship of student organizations.

All assistant, associate, and full professors are eligible to receive the award. Selection for the award is made by a student committee.

Student Government is currently seeking student applicants for the selection committee, as well as faculty nominations for the award. All forms are due by March 27, 2009.  Click on the links below to either apply for the selection committee or to nominate a professor.

•  The Frequent Flyer Card is now available!

  Never before has it been so rewarding to get involved! Now, you can pick up your Redhawk Frequent Flyer card at the all residence hall front desks, the CSI (UC 204), Houck Field House 002, and River Campus Box Office. Present your card at SAC, River Campus, and Athletics events to get your card punched. With five punches, you will be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift card of your choice!

   

• Dance Marathon 2009 is coming 02.28.09 from noon to midnight! Spend twelve hours dancing, eating, playing games, winning prizes, and helping kids! It’s easy to get involved. Simply pick up a registration form in the CSI, provide 10 addresses of friends and family, and come to the event! Can we beat last year’s total of $14,446?
